"A recent fire has gone through the area so a lot of the vegetation has been impacted but this in no where reduces the grandeur of the chasm itself: the closeness of the walls and colour is magnificent with the odd ghost gum adding contracting whites and greens to the scene."

"We walked uphill to the left which is part of the Larapinta Trail and the views blow you away! The new owners are local people and they’re very friendly, trusting (we arrived late and they didn’t worry about payment then) and serve great food and their famous home made ice teas! I’ll be back soon!"

"It was nice to be able to sit and enjoy scones and tea after a walk down to the chasm. The path is very easy to walk and it is lovely and shady almost the entire way."
